It was a Dark and Stormy Night…
But by 7:00am, the rain had passed through and it would turn out to be ideal conditions for a marathon. Early puddles to hop evaporated, and 8 runners set out with Shyanne to begin her marathon quest.

Rarely, do you see the type of spontaneous synergy that was on display that Saturday, as this shot displays. Folks literally came out of their yard to run down the street in support for a while, like a scene from Forrest Gump. Members took turns helping keep spirits high, never more than 10 at a time however.
